About STEM Education in Greene

Greene County Schools is dedicated to providing equitable, hands-on STEM education beginning in kindergarten and continuing through high school to prepare every student for college, careers, and civic life. We expand early exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math through project-based learning, makerspaces, community service, and real-world applications, while supporting teachers with targeted professional learning and curriculum resources. By partnering with local businesses, higher education, and community organizations, we create clear K–12 pathways into computer science, engineering, arts, health sciences, and skilled trades, showcase student innovation, and engage families—ensuring all students have the skills and opportunities to succeed.
