ROUND 2:

Letter of Interest (One-page maximum)

• Candidates should describe why they are applying for their selected role and what they hope to contribute to Opportunity Culture in Greene County Schools. Candidates may also expand on any relevant work or leadership experience that they believe will contribute to their success as MCLs.

​​Summary of high-growth data and narrative explanation (Submit as a PDF, not to exceed 4 pages total)

• Candidates must provide data to support at least one year of high student growth. This data can include EVAAS™ or any other data used by out-of-state school districts. In addition to providing student growth data, candidates should include a narrative explanation for each year of data and a visual display of data with clear labels and titles. For candidates who are unable to provide data, please provide a written explanation and supplemental evidence where possible (for example, if the candidate is currently an instructional coach, you may submit data from teachers you coached). Below are additional data submission guidelines. Please note that candidates are not limited to the list below:

• Candidates should include the following information in their data narrative, if available:​

  • School, subject, and grades for data sets included:
  • Time frame for data sets included (e.g. 2022-2023 school year)

• Origin of data sets included (e.g. End-of-Grade or End-of-Course exams, proficiency exams, common formative assessments)
• Baseline data by which you are comparing your students  (State and/or District)  to demonstrate your success
• A description of specific contributions to data outcomes
• Proficiency and growth rates

Two most recent summative evaluation rubrics from NCEES (North Carolina teachers) or the equivalent

• Candidates should submit a copy of their two most recent summative evaluations completed by their immediate supervisor in their current position.​​​

Leadership Narrative

• What strengths will you bring to a teaching team? (200 words max)
• Why do you want to be a Teacher Leader? (200 words max)
• Describe a time when you set a standard for someone else’s work and held that person accountable for adhering to that standard. (250 words max)
• Describe a time when you experienced an unanticipated change at work and were able to deal with it to your satisfaction. (250 words max)
• Describe a time when someone else's feelings or emotions affected their work and you dealt with the situation to your satisfaction.  (250 words max)

ROUND 3:

District-level Interviews

• Behavior Event Interviews (BEI) will be conducted for District-level interviews. This video shows a demo of a Behavioral Event Interview.

School-level Interviews
